Steal An Egg player guide · updated 2026-09-03
Money per second and Speed
Steal An Egg tracks money and Speed as separate progression signals. Pets generate income, while treadmill use increases Speed; the September 3 HUD showed both Money/s and Speed leaderboard columns, and a fresh session displayed Speed 10.
01 / Before you use this
Start with the right game and date
- ✓Identify whether your problem is earning slowly or failing to escape.
- ✓Use current pet income labels and treadmill UI, not an old community spreadsheet.
- ✓Compare one change at a time.
02 / Action
Follow the useful path
- 01
Read Money/s as an income signal
The leaderboard labels Money/s separately from Speed. Pet placement and income should be evaluated on the money side of the loop.
- 02
Read Speed as movement progression
The game description says treadmill running gains Speed. A new-player screen showed Speed 10 on September 3, but starting values can change.
- 03
Upgrade the current bottleneck
If waiting for currency blocks you, focus on pet income; if return routes fail, focus on treadmill and movement. Do not assume one stat automatically raises the other.
- 04
Use milestones as labels, not formulas
The Angelic Treadmill badge confirms a named treadmill milestone. It does not publish costs, gains, or the number of upgrade steps.
03 / Common mistakes
Avoid outdated or misleading advice
Leaderboard columns do not reveal upgrade formulas.
X2 Money does not claim to double Speed.
A faster player may also have different route knowledge or boosts.
Do not infer Angelic costs from badge award counts.
